Angel in the Sky Runway of Excellence Fashion Show
Benefit Fashion Show for The TDH Foundation
Jacksonville, FL August 18, 2012:
The Tiphne D. Hollis Foundation will be hosting The Angel in the Sky: Runway of Excellence Fashion Show at the Hyatt Regency River Walk Hotel in downtown Jacksonville.
With celebrity host Antonia ‘Toya’ Carter-Wright, State Attorney Angela Corey who will also speak before the commencement of ceremony about the unsolved homicide case, her diligence in bringing justice to the city of Jacksonville and the need for community support. Other notable city leaders such as Mayor Alvin Brown, Rhonda People-Waters and many more activist and business owners will also be in attendance.
TDH Foundation was founded in memory of Tiphne DarShay Hollis who was taken away from her family and friends on March 20, 2010 by a malicious act of violence. To date Tiphne’s homicide case remains unsolved. Therefore, The TDH Foundation has successfully joined other organizations to keep Tiphne’s memory alive by giving back to the community with multiple drives and sponsoring/hosting charitable events.
This year is very special to Ms. Shanda Whitaker, Tiphne’s mother & founder/CEO of TDH Foundation because 2012 is the year Tiphne would have graduated from high school.
BET reality show star and author celebrity Antonia ‘Toya’ Carter Wright along with Kuzzo Deville will host this event.
The fashion show is under the creative direction of none other than Javan Reed, founder and CEO of Fashion Forward. Javan Reed is a native of Jacksonville, FL and has made his mark on the world of fashion by being innovative, risk-taking and relentless in his passion. His creative genius has been featured in many fashion magazines and utilize widely throughout the entertainment industry for his foresight in fashion.
