The Blood Moon is the first full moon following the Harvest Moon in the Fall. This year 2014 the moon was in a total eclipse on the day when it was fullest - an amazing thing to see.
It was bright outside at 4 AM before the action began because the moon was so bright, by 5:15 the moon eclipse was just beginning and the reflection on the water was great. As the eclipse progressed and as the sky brightened from the sunrise dawn beginning to break the total eclipse faded into the early morning sky!
Those people in the mid west probably had better shooting conditions.
A Lot of fun!
